Quiz Night
2006.04.20 2:45
The day before yesterday I slept 6 hours at night. Last night, therefore I only slept 3 hours. Strange it to say though I only sleep 5 hours at longest in a day. If I slept more than 5 hours, I cannot sleep more than 4 hours next day.
So it was a long day today. Since I woke up at 7 in the morning after I went to sleep at 4 AM.
I went to another satellite city to have a workshop as to my job skill up for 5 hours. So my entire working hours are just 5 hours today. But because I had to learn many new things, my tiredness just accumulated piles and piles so high, so after I finished this session, my fatigue was apparently considerable. Soon after I finished, I rushed into my girlfriend house -my girlfriend, age 41, is also in the middle ages soon noticed my extreme weariness, so gave me an encouragement no one else can do. But my compiled fatigue never show state being extinguished, so just once in a blue moon I went to a foreigner's bar to have some fun probably for the first time for one year.
Firstly I went to A****, it wasn't good enough. Secondly I went to B***, but no one but few were there. It was not good enough to have some fun. Then thirdly I went to C***. It was still before happy hours expired -till 10 PM they offered us 50% discount for any drinks. I ordered first Sledge Hammer and next Melonball. Both are vodka based. I was able to rejuvenate myself rapidly.
It happened to be the quiz night. Unlike other Japanese unfortunately since I understand English well, I was allotted to the member of team 'The Rest of the World' . This was a USA versus the rest of the world team quiz entertainment program.
The result was USA 4 versus The Rest 0, we lost. I was drunk a lot and I made a speech at the hall. 'American people tend to believe that America is the world and the world is America, but actually...' I stopped making a speech. 'But actually America is a part of the world, there are many worlds other than USA.' I just said to myself.
It was the real quiz.
