My alternative -main journal in my daily use is either use Perl, Slashcode, Mccarthy, or old Technocrat. I think use Perl is fine since there are a number of users and so so active. I cannot see even a glance of this pink, see you there and preferably for a while.

A thoroughly bejagnant* colour scheme indeed. I hope the editors look at the vastly reduced number of posts today and realise that this whole thing is nowhere near as funny as they thought.*Bejagnant (adj): a totally meaningless word, but it sounds like it should mean something pretty nasty, such as "when Slashdot was bright pink".
--The difficulties nerds have with the world stem from the fact that not all problems can be solved by nerdery.

I understand; I'm the same when it comes to noise. The site must look to you the way a dog whistle sounds to me: incredibly annoying.
