I like to eat strawberry always but sometimes the taste of ginger is helpful to promote our good sense of mind. Let's have a drink again before spring comes!

I intend to catch up with your journal soon but now I need to concentrate on my current situations.

for a time in England suicide was illegal, and the penalty for attempting it was death. I'd never really thought about the theological implications of that before (not being religious), but it now occurs to me that it's a way for the state to grant their wish without any repercussions in the afterlife.

This is interesting from secular point of view. I'm not eligible to evaluate someone's comment, though, your remark shows a full of insight.

It´s like a deep sea you are in wherein you have to swim in order not to drown. Religion can show you the way, but it´s you who must put your steps forward in order to reach your goal.

Very impressive word. I hope as many Christians as possible are as you.
Exactly.
Jesus came to bring a new commandment: "to love not only those who love you but also those who do you wrong". This is a very important commandment, and if we all followed this, there would be no war.
I think you grasp the very essence of Christianity.
Love.
Love is the highest priority Jesus taught.

Everything you said is very worth while to listen.

Animal sacrifice has no place in Christianity and never had.

True.

In Judaism, animals were NEVER strangled. As in Islam, the animal has to bleed to death.

Thanks. I didn't know that. I was able to acquire a new knowledge.

Sometimes you have the strangest way of thinking.

Let me explain how I reached my idea. See this. This is called shimenawa and literally it means shime=strangle, nawa= rope, means 'a rope to strangle' , but this is a decoration in front of the gate on New Year's Day in Japan, also it is always used in Shinto shrine. My idea in Christmas wreath was derived from association with this rope.

Kokeshi dolls are so common in northern Japan. This word means originally ko = bady, keshi= banish, means baby banisher. This tool was originally used to kill baby just before delivery by putting into. No one now recall original role in looking at kokeshi.

I guess many objects used in some rituals have more meanings than we imagine.

And I don't know how you'd strangle even a chicken with a wreath.

The wreath now we see only has symbolic meaning. Any symbol must be OK to be small as long as it represents original role.

Originally vengeance belongs to humans as described eyes for eyes, teeth for teeth in Hammurabi code. God one day realised it's not a good idea to leave revenge to each humans since that only leads to endless conflict in natural conditions. Then God declared 'Vengeance is mine'People stop fighting and learned to leave their revenge to the rule of law. Human society started moving toward civilisation. Christianity was more advanced since it taught humans ought to give up revenge and learn to forgive their enemies. This is ideal but Christians are people who are eager to realise this ideal society.

As you pointed out Catholic taught suicide is against God's will in spite of the fact that no explicit statement that forbade killing yourself can be found in Bible. Adhesion to life is very strong throughout Middle Ages in Catholic church. Peasants had been needed to be alive to offer labour power, hence basic economy to nobles, monks, king. Christmas wreath

I always wondered what for Christmas wreath is. I guess it was originally used to strangle animal offerings

Tobacco

Many years ago the expression of caution outside the package of tobacco was very ambiguous. 'Be careful to smoke too much.' instead of saying 'Be careful not to smoke too much' Then people would often smoke not being cautioned properly. Now the caution was very strict. 'The possibility of lung cancer is twice to four times higher'Smoking exacerbate emphysema' ' It causes stroke' 'It cause angina'I never smoked but one day I felt like having just one then I stopped in front of the auto vendor of tobacco.I was overwhelmed by those cautions above.

Riddle of inner sales

One of my friends sometimes complains about his company. He says they always ask of him to buy their products. They call it 'inner sales'.
Inner sales destroy healthy company accounting. Originally company ought to pay benefit to their employees. They not only acquire fines from their employees in a form of profit from their products but also they add the fines to the sum of all sales. They committed racketeering doubly or triply.
Inner sales are impossible. We sell product to others. Selling is essentially from ins to outs.

Secret of rapid growth

I went to a famous labour dispatch company yesterday to register myself. They said no health insurance is available for two months. I had been to less famous ones already but none of them said there's no insurance for two months. Of course I declined to register and left soon.
Many years ago I went to a famous home tutoring company. Immediately after I arrived I was told to have a credit card they issued. I angrily said it's against labour rules and left soon.
There was a secret behind their rapid growth, but I don't think they last forever.

Is suicide prohibited in Bible?

There're two descriptions of suicide in Bible. One is by Saul and the other is by Judas of Iscariote. Two examples represent most cases. Political or natioanl leader who lost the war ends up in this act and those who lost all hopes and left only despair also do the same thing.Recently we were amazed to hear one Catholic believer killed two people and committed suicide. I think some Christian church have taught those who killed himself cannot get a key for afterlife, though, I don't think there's direct reference in Bible that prohibits this act.Have any suggestions ?

Years had passed, 'Georgia' was admitted to be a trademark by authorities as the name became much more popular among Japanese people. My surname happens to be free from the restrictions of trademark law, but I probably surely feel troublesome if I can't use my surname freely just because my surname happens to be the same as the real famous Giant company. Both of us had to work on the 31st of December but her work starts at 7 while mine was thirty minutes past noon. She needed to go to sleep at 22:30. I interruped coitus by accepting her serious appeal that she needs to take a rest soon. I didn't come. Then I abruptly recall what I had in twenty years ago. A woman I recalled was not my current wife. We were supposed to have a date for the first time in more than one and a half years. I was studying in America and she was working in Tokyo.

It was already too large to narrow our gap. We couldn't meet owing to mutual misunderstanding.

The last time I saw her was 28th of April, 1988. She was watching closely for three seconds stooping in front of the window at Dutor, where I always made it a rule to take a seat to see her. I was watching her secretly from a bit away from the spot, where she was watching the seat closely. It was too far for her to notice me. She disappeared into the crowds in Tokyo. It was also the moment she disappeared from my world.

Much later I heard a rumour that she got married at her age 27. She was 24 when last time I witnessed.

I haven't seen her for nearly twenty years since that time.

Moses & Paul - one common point

Both committed murder one time in their past.

It is well known that Moses once killed Egyptian slave master when Moses witnessed Jewish slaves were beaten by him. Moses flew away thereafter.

Paul Killed one or some Christians when he was Pharisees during his campaign against Christianity.

Moses learned from his past mistake and later made law for Jewish people.
