Significant Moment

Significant Moment
2006.12.23 14:43

Twenty years ago around this hour I was waiting to see her for the first time in front of Hankyu Department Store, Shijogawara, in central Kyoto. I met her at 20 minutes past 2 pm. We went to coffee shop called Trecca following her lead. She ordered American coffee, and I followed. At age 25 I was a still 15 year boy. She was 23 and already matured. We both were senior -fourth grade University students. One year and a half before we met first I called her up then I knew she planed to go to the graduate school in America. After one year and a half, she quit and decided to work in Tokyo. I was the only one who went to America to study furthermore. After one year after I went to America, I secretly went home to see her. She was working in an office at central Tokyo. I watched her closely many times from the coffee shop called Doutor. This coffee shop was located just opposit to the building she worked over the road. I watched her working there, but I was unable to call her any more. I tried to do so millions of times, but only to fail. I realised we both lived in a completely different world. Two lines came near very closely but never crossed. Two lines took the different direction and will never cross forever.
