See Twice

See Twice

I see it differently.
To accomplish something truly great, you have to be “drunk” — because you can never achieve greatness with a completely sober mind.
Even when you are intoxicated and lose your objective judgment, the task must still be done. That is why you look at the target twice: to ensure you do not mistake your destination.
Once your mind is made up, you only get one shot.
Whether you succeed or fail, if you commit this deeply, you will have no regrets.
You simply cannot achieve something monumental in a conventional, ordinary state of mind.
To me, these words speak directly to that truth.

I see this exact sentiment reflected in my own decision to move permanently to the Philippines.
