Media War thereafter

The president of NHK (BBC in Japan) resigned for responding recent upheaval between other media and a few scandals made by its staffs.
The situation was supposed to calm down, but because he was asked to be an adviser of this broadcasting company by new president, what is worse, he accepted, subsequently made us surprised a lot.
Naturally he got a numerous protest calls from listeners and viewers, then he resigned again.
It is reported that NHK will consider abolishing this advisory post. Some are eager to keep their social position however hard the situations surrounding them.
