Dangerous Torrents
2005.02.01 1:51

Three families returned from North Korea. But the others were told that they (abductees) were already dead and their ashes were sent to their families instead.
Over those ashes, Japan concluded they be false, forged. Over this Japan's assertion, North Korea is strongly opposing.
Every day and night, the left families of the abductees are appearing in a TV, sueing the necessity of taking strong measure by Japanese government over the issue, not only in word but in action - here concrete measure, economic sanction, which is certainly cross the Rubicon.
Economic sanctions include three stages. The first is the stop of remittance to North Korea, the second is the stop of trade, the third is the stop of havouring of the regular ship
Japan's influential politician and the head of U.S. State Security Agency, Mr Green met over the issue. Mr Green showed sympathy to Japan, saying if Japan really takes action towards North Korea, please let U.S. inform beforehand.
It is a little bit hard for us how to take the meaning of Mr Green's saying, though, it would be generally thought that the U.S. is going to take the similar stance to Japan over the attitude towards North Korea.
It is still hardly imaginable for anyone to see crossing fire between two countries, but it would be true as North Korea used to point out that the economic sanction might be taken to de facto the declaration of war.
Judging from all the bad mood between two countries, it is unfortunately highly likely to enter into economic sanctions. I an not entirely certain the aftermath of this, but I hope Japan refrain from taking this measure and stop before the die is cast.
The people of this country are so patriotic before either far left or far right, no one except U.S. cannot stop this dangerous torrents.
