I got a post card on the 14th of February, St Valentine's Day from my ex-wife who lives in San Jose.
She posted it on the 3rd of February, considering the usual length of post-delivery, 1 week from America, this post card must stay in a local post office to deliver the exact date-St Valentine's Day. We have a custom to deliver the New Year Card on the 1st of January, but I've never heard of such a nice treatment. I suspect Japan is Americanising a lot. ...
Apart from that, I didn't expect to receive a St Valentine's Card from her. It was already 10 years ago when we separated. Please forget...
