Neurosis & Psychosis

Neurosis & Psychosis

I tell you the difference.
As I told somebody's journal, from at age 12 to 15 I was repeatedly again and again and again -more than 700 times if I remember correctly, -yes I do, I was suffered from catalepsy but strangely I was 'not unconscious'- that's different from typical symptoms I guess anyway. I overcame the hardship.
The same days I was caught by a heavy neurosis, it took a few years to overcome it.
At age 15, I managed to overcome these mental conditions but still I have to wait another three years to overcome 'hysteria'- which means 'physical unwellness based on aftershocks after we overcame the neurosis' in academic usage.
So I am eligible to tell what catalepsy/neurosis/hysteria are well but when it comes to psychosis, I had no idea till I met a man who had suffered from schizophrenia at my age 22.
According to his story, his parents divorced before his birth and he only knew his stepfather and his biological mother in his chilhood. And what made him schizophrenic was his stepfather -who was paedophile and homosexual, and he was vicimised by his stepfather when he was still a baby.
I happened to have chances to hear his story for three months occasionally, but in the end I felt scared by his 'true story' and decided not to see him any more. Soon after he was forced to return to mental hospital again.
I must say the difference between neurosis and psychosis is whether there is a physical contact or not. I mean if no physical contact was made, people stayed up to neurosis but once physical contacts are involved people are going up to psychosis.
I still remember his last famous word. - 'I am totally not sure whether my story is true'.
