It started raining heavily in the last night and in the morning still it was raining though it's not heavy. I was expecting heavy rainfall all day long. But when the workshop once a week finished at around 5 PM, we had no rainfall. I was with a woman whom we met first in this workshop. She is one year senior to me and she has been a partner in this workshop. We are supposed to know one another, so with a little conviction I asked her if we go to restaurant to have some meal. Today I was supposed to see a guy at 7:30 PM, I had some 2 free hours. We went to a famous grand hotel and went upstairs, there we had meal. We ordered Carbonara, Pizza, two glasses of Allegra and we had a good time there in one hour.
After the heavy rain everything seemed to be renewed. Silent night, as if the rain took away all noises around the area.

On the 10th of May I got a laptop personal computer from one of Japanese slashdotters -patagon. He lives in the same area.
I started using the computer. Linux was installed in it.
I understand I don't understand Linux. I started learning basic commands, etc.
My exploration to the unknown field has just started.

Good luck! I can remember those halcyon days of late 2004 when I was taking my first steps in Linux. I kind of miss the ignorance, for some reason.
I've come close to giving up on it a few times, but the rewards for sticking at it have been way more than I could have expected.

My laptop I usually use was made in 1998. I got it from some other source for nothing in January last year. My laptop was shutdown for unknown reasons for two weeks from 15th of May to 31st of May last year, but except for this mechanical failure, this one has been working quite well. My main objective to use computer is keep a journal, make a comment, write a thesis, etc. I am not well versed in computer at all.
The one I got will work as an alternative to my current one. I will start learning how to operate Linux then. Till that time the machine is stored for a while. I might ask you how to operate Linux in the future, best regards then.
