But if our siblings tended to cause trouble, things would be completely opposite. I still believe that the siblings are the start of experiencing others.

mercedo wrote today at 4:01 AMThese days ten are very rare. Sometimes some people have more than five kids, interestingly I observe they are either very affluent or poor. Before the civilisation, all might be died out because of hunger, fight, etc. Today's civilised society more than five can simply be ruled out. One poor village can hire either two useless lawyers or one able lawyer.

ullangoo saidbecause I have memories of former lives. Reincarnation, resurrection.. I don't believe in either of them. Probably immortality of souls is more scientific than resurrection. But it depends..If the corpse were kept in a big freezer, it might be possible for us to give a new life in the far future. But if it were cremated, even God can take to restore it for more than one biblical years- here one day is equal to 1 billion years. Of course I don't have a memory in my previous lives, I think most people don't have it even if the souls were immortal. Our memory is banished prenatally.
Number of Kids

One, two, three...
Two is worst. One elder often kills the younger one. Example; Romulus & Remus, Abel & Cain. Yoritomo & Yoshitsune, Hamlet, and many more.
Three is not worse than two. Example; Brothers of Karamazov, Three daughters of King Lear, Three sons of Mohri Clan.
One has few problems. Also that contributes to population issue. One can inherit all from his parents.

Your neighbour or relatives mean no one but yourself, death means nothing but your vigorous activities.I am very sure as to my interpretation. Just try to slow down your pace, then everything's ok.
Some Christian firmly believe they will be resurrected.
Reincarnation is as a thought based on the immortality of souls, but we can't be so certain as far as we can't confirm the souls are immortal.
Resurrection, on the other hand, has nothing to do with this immortality. We can't deny resurrection, we can say we can realise resurrection as the ultimate form of our scientific achievement. Those who wish their resurrection had better try to make the most of their life at present. This is one of the rarest opportunity they live.
In the end resurrection will take place, but it takes time. It will definitely take place by the end of time.

It is persuasive to explain the term sumsum was used like shiboleth, to differentiate his people from other people. Only those who can pronounce the word properly can get access to treasures anyway. I always perplexed in r and l sounds. Koreans pronounce t in the place of d sound, etc.

Right, but we do not particularly choose the catchword that connotes bad sense. Probably 'to open sesame' was very important to Arabic people, that must have brought constant wealth every year.

The finding of monotheism is closely related to the establishment of self. Still people believe in animistic omnipresence of gods, their identity as independent humans was ambiguous.

Establishment of self

Establishment of self
Jul 7, '07 12:06 AMby Mer Cedo for group circularrefuge

Somebody told us in our presence that his relation to God is more important than the relationship to others.
I thought he merely stated that he has nothing more important than himself, but I think this shows how Westerners have established themselves through their personal dialogue to God who is intangible, silent, yet it's absolute.

Somebody told us in our presence that his relation to God is more important than the relationship to others.
I thought he merely stated that he has nothing more important than himself, but I think this is the way how Westerners established themselves. Establishment of self, that is what lacks completely in Japanese. Westerners have established themselves through their personal dialogue to God. As opposed to the cases in Japanese, who only talk to people in their surroundings who have the similar problem with themselves. So so-called establishment by Japanese is fragile.

Abandoned People

mercedo wrote today at 1:59 AM
briangriffith saidChina in the Ming dynasty had possibly the best standard of living in the world, and few Chinese desired to leave it? This comment is based on some knowledge on Chinese history especially in Ming Dynasty. Many people who were abandoned by the ruler had to leave their villages and left for unknown lands, one of them they cast away was Japan. I guess the reason Japanese use Chinese characters is not they learned letters from Chinese but they must be descendants of Chinese themselves who reached Japan after running away from hardships in their homeland China. But it's true Chinese didn't have to colonise the rest of the world. China was very rich in many resources, but that doesn't automatically mean Chinese people were rich.

The idea of colonisation was only particular to Europeans. Compass was Chinese origin. It's no strange if Chinese reached east coast of America prior to 1492.History is a study of the record written in the past. If no description were discovered, we can't prove China reached America. Probably many people, Viking, Chinese reached a part of American continent. But they didn't realise the value as colony. We'd better simply mention Columbus discovered America in 1492. This is simply a true.

Is Love Everything?
Jul 3, '07 1:57 AMfor everyone
Recently I've been thinking that love might be everything. I am very deeply involved in love with one woman. Her dedication to me has been just tremendous, so I now feel very happy. The only problem I have is she doesn't understand English. Preferably I want to talk to my girlfriend in English. But I am very happy, because she has been giving me pleasure at its most. Love might not continue forever, but if I'm now very happy, what else should I ask?

I undestand all Apocrypha left were written in Koine, probably many of those were written firstly in Hebrew, but those left were only Greek translations. Those circumstances suggest one of the reasons why Apocrypha were excluded from Canon. God must direct humans to write down his words in Hebrew, but it was human who translated them into another tongue.
