Abandoned People

This comment is based on some knowledge on Chinese history especially in Ming Dynasty. Many people who were abandoned by the ruler had to leave their villages and left for unknown lands, one of them they cast away was Japan. I guess the reason Japanese use Chinese characters is not they learned letters from Chinese but they must be descendants of Chinese themselves who reached Japan after running away from hardships in their homeland China. But it's true Chinese didn't have to colonise the rest of the world. China was very rich in many resources, but that doesn't automatically mean Chinese people were rich.
