Akechi's daughter was a wife of powerful warloard Hosokawa, but because of his father's disgrace, she was about to be killed by her subordinates. She was hidden in hamlet and led the life of recluse and later became nun in Christianity. She was rather well known as Garacia(Grace in Portugese) in history, which is her Christian name.
Modern days in Japan? No. Japan became a very secure country.
As to North Korea's missile test, many people react very rationally. By and large North is a nuclear holder, they are seeking to develop missiles capable of carrying a nuclear warhead. Diplomacy is important in order to avoid crisis. This is my opinion. Many people hold their opinions variously. Japan's public opinion is not merely one as it used to be ten yeras ago.
