Christian values and the existence of God
Dec 2, '08 7:04 PMfor everyone
I believe Christian value is very good. Altruism, love and sacrifice. Nobody can't know whether God really exists. God exists or does not exist, which is regardless of whether people believe in God. Do those who believe in God really show altruism, love and sacrifice? I think Christian values and existence of God are not mutually related.
I think there are many people who believe in Christian values but don't believe in God. I think that's natural.

Agreed.I think human morality influenced the creation of religions thousands of years ago. So people with good morality were good even before religion told them to be.

Thousands of years ago the existence of God must have played an important role for the rulers to let their people obey the rules and regulations. Today I only understand God ideologically. God is love, God is justice, etc. I believe in God in these senses.
