History of Jewish people dates back to much older than the kiss of Judas Iscarit, so the claim Jewish people are descendants of Judas of Iscariot is completely hocus pocus.I asked him the next day where he obtained such story, then he replied he heard when he was a kid from a boy who went to Catholic kindergarden. The name Judas seemed to be very common in the time Jesus lived. There are other 'Judas' in Bible. That's why we had to define 'Judas of what' by putting Iscarit. However Christians started to evade naming Judas in their kids after the event Judas of Iscarit played. As the population of Christian grew larger and larger, European people, in other words Christian majority couldn't have clensed the negative image the word 'Judas' connotes.'Judas' of Judas of Iscarit and the name of ethnic people 'Jews' must have been a sheer coincidence. But the ordinary people would often believe less likely story as something just very likely story when they would like to associate with one thing and another.
