I know the characters of God sometimes contradict themselves in Bible. But in it it says humans are made along with the image of God. The characters of humans often contradict themselves. Love and hatred, sometimes envy, construction and cruelty. Bible harmonise as long as God is the very reflection of humans.
Aside from that, apparently novelistic or anachronistic parts were excluded to Apocrypha. Bible harmonises with historical events.
