Match fixing is called 'yaocho' in Japanese. Some people believe the word yaocho comes from sumo game, but it's untrue. Yaocho means Mr Cho of vegetable store, he often played go games with a sumo stablemaster. Cho lost go games on purpose in an attmpt to please a stabemaster.
