It reflects statistical inclination at least, I think.Fortune teller or in this case a hand reader has read tens of thousands of hand phase and must have known the patterns of those who have some particular hand line tend to face some particular future. It's interesting to see how hand phase shows someone's past as well as future. Hand phase might be a schedule board of life.
