US court said arrest is just because in Japan even if he was not guilty in murder charges, his case was not discussed about conspiring the crime. But it was clear that he didn't kill his wife, the point was whether he asked someone to kill his wife. After a very lengthy trial, Japanese court concluded there was no direct proof of conspiring the killing between Miura and the third person who committed the killing. But an incident occurred in Los Angels, not in Japan. Investigation by Japanese authority had its limitation form the beginning. If US court says anyone won't be put to trial for the same crime twice, he is the case. But dared to say so because I think it's from the consideration to a Japanese court. He was arrested because US investigators thought there remains rational doubt about the conspiracy and murder by the third person thereafter. I think US court has been starting another trial of the same crime under the name of a different charge, but it's not a wrong decision since the statute of limitation stopped when he left US, so I think US had a legal right to start a trial when Miura visited US. He was arrested in Saipan.

Lay economy

September is a rainy month, but this year it continued to be fine throughout the month. It's rainy today. One acquaintance is working in a factory, then he said he was forced to have three days off only in this month. 5,000 dispatched automobile workers have been fired. All because of the current recession.
Current perfect unemployment rate is 4.2%, effective recruitment index is -0.86.
Collapse of Lehman Brothers, sub prime loan..economic turmoils in the US are almost inexplicable.
It's rainy outside because a huge typhoon is near. I can't go out though I took a paid off today

A woman who bought a coffee for me
2008.09.28 15:33

It was already ten years ago. I dropped by a shop. The shop was a customer for our company. One Korean girl was working there. She was a foreign student, probably she was working there to earn money for her study in a university. I had a couple of words with her in English. It was not long, just two or three minutes. She abruptly said excuse and left the scene went outside. She brought a coffee with her for me saying hi!.
I said thank you and left there.
The cost of coffee was about a dollar, but I changed the attitude toward Koreans in general from that day.Just a spoonful of sea water is enough to judge the taste of it.
Lost of fatherhood & the right wing thought
Sep 28, '08 1:58 PMfor everyone
Tokyo governor Ishihara lost his father when he was still in the university. He started to support himself and his younger brother. Ishihara had four sons.
J.S.Bach lost his father when still he was a kid. He had three sons.
Tokyo governor is famous for his right wing thought. He had to overdevelop his conservative thought by overcompensating his dependency to his father, that was never fulfiled.
Chocolate
2008.09.28 12:55

In a chocolate package we always see the statement as ' This chocolate is high quality so it melts in over 28 Celsius degree.' It tends to melt easier because definitely it contains more cacao butter than Hershey's and Cadbury. So we think it is high quality because it contains more cacao butter?
This is curious. Traditionally Japanese cuisines contain less oil. We hadn't eat meat of livestock such as pork, beef many years for religious reasons. But fish and chicken can be eaten. Fish that have more oil in them are regarded as high quality.
This tendency still remains in a tradition of making chocolate.
I think this statement is too far to say so, and Japanese chocolate company has got a criticism from European chocolate makers that the chocolate Japanese made is not a chocolate Europeans think.
Now we have lots of oil in our dishes. We need to mull over the way to make chocolate more.
New disease
2008.09.28 11:44

The term E-coli or Escherichia -coli bacillus was often heard in foreign news in late 20th century, I started hearing the word o-157 in Japan's news soon after that. I hadn't realised both are the same immediately.
Mad cow disease occurred in a country first caused by prion, this disease is also known as Bovine spongeform encephalopathy, believed to be related to human disease Creutzfeldt Jacob disease. There's another disease called Hoof and mouth disease in cattles.
Bird influenza broke out first in a country and later spreaded around the globe. Sudden acute respiratory syndrome or new type influenza is thought to be a human version of bird influenza.
At least less tha ten cases of Ciguatera poisoning were reported here in Japan. This poison started being found in edible fish Isaki or Grunt.

Binary system is most basic way of counting numbers, like 0, 1, 10, 11, 100, 101, 110, 111....Decimal notation is just a product of our culture. It is as a result of our trying to make the most of ten fingers. Theoretically notations by any number is possible. Some one who can multiply any different large number, for example 6735 x 4792 instantly once confessed that he can see different figures in each numbers, for him 6735 represented by some shape and 4792 by another shape. He can count numbers in 10000 notation at least in order to multiply numbers like 6735 or 4792. Perfect number is also a product of our culture. It seems meaningless from other point of view.

To win gamble it is needed to call the voice of the wild that remains to stay deep inside our brain. Beginners must have taken out of it in their very first try.
There must be many traditional rhymes around the world. haiku is one of the shortest expression of words made of three lines. Each line must have consisted of 5, 7, 5 syllables. One of the famous example of haiku is in translation, CalmnessThe voice of cicadaThat merged into the rock This haiku is made by Basho, it is regarded as good to use the words as succinct as possible.

Beginner's Luck

It was in my late twenties when I started working bin a cram school. Everyday I have needed to have many classes so naturally I had been frustrated. It was then I started to visit amusement hall, in Japan we say 'game centre'.
I have never had gambles but then I did blackjack in a game centre.
I didn't know how to do so I just tried clicking without any intention. The figure became astronomical number when I noticed. The figure became less and stable after I realised how to play.
I think it was a beginner's luck. It was a part of just a playing game. The figure didn't reflect any real money.

Giants vs Tigers

Baseball sometimes matters. Giants is a team of Tokyo and Tigers of Osaka, it is East vs West. Japanese people always boil when it comes to East vs West.
We had thought Tigers wins the pennant race. But Giants kept on winning unprecedented 13 consecutive victory.
I don't care whichever wins anyway though.
Right.

His same generation is now on the go in TV world. It is his legacy she appears TV show frequently.

Sonne Lagoon
2008.09.27 23:38

I now live off Seto Inland Sea. The wave is very stable. There's a lagoon from twenty minutes walk of my home, called Sonne Lagoon. It is rare two days off so I went there. Like the first time I visited on the 27th of August nobody was there. It was different from the last visit, the shinning from the lagoon was not so strong.
There are many good lagoons off the coast of Japan, all are protected under the Ramsar treaty.

A perfect number
2008.09.27 22:54

In a real world 6 is called a perfect number since it is devided by 2, 3 an 6.7 is not a perfect number of course but in Bible it is regarded as a perfect number.
Perdect number in a real world is not perfect in ethereal world, that proves it a place nowhere.

15 year old girl and boy were walking on their way home after they finish a cram school. It was already dark after 8 o'clock.
We both stopped in front of the vending machine. She asked what this is. I replied it's condom. She grinned.
Later she became a medical doctor and got married. She had three kids, living in Tokyo. She must have used it with another guy.

The criminal investigator concluded the fugitive must have died when he saw a part of clothes the fugitive wore. The clothes were deliberately cast in an attempt to have them believe he must have died.
Smoker tend to die before the drama ends. Smoker investigators often die before the drama ends and in the last scene of the French connection, at a harbour a drug dealer started smoking some time after he went on board, where he was hit.

Four years ago we were discussing whether Republicans or Democrats win US presidential election. Eight years ago we were debating the same issue. Now US presidential election had started.
Whoever won the race, four years from now same issue would be discussed.
Conservative or Liberal, it will be discussed till the end of time since it's an eternal theme for humans.

Right & Duty

Someone said in a TV drama that no one has a right to take someone's life. But in reality many people take someone's life. How do we explain that?
No one has a right to take somone's life but there is some time some one has to take someone's life.
It must be permissable if it's a duty to take someone's life.

Nobuyoshi Araki

Hi, ***.. I had no idea who Nobuyoshi Araki is then I click his name in Google. Yeah, yeah I know or almost all Japanese know who he is. He is a famous nude photographer. I had no idea first because I didn't know how to read his name in Chinese characters. All day long I was struggling to find Messenger - Preference - Message Archive section, but finally I found no place in my browser. I hadn't instal Yahoo! Messenger as you did and I found I was unable to do because of my operation system Millennium. I was able to instal msn messenger instead and I sent 'add me' email to your hotmail account. Please check it later tonight. I browse many fetish photographies and I revel in them. Mer

No kids maybe.I didn't have to marry since I didn't have a kid among my past girlfriends.Ok!For me marriage is more economic rather than being based on love. Oh this message appeared without hitting a send button. Should not be sent! I think marriage is based on love. You mean someone got married and sometimes divorced Are you still married legally speaking?Oh, thanks for your honest reply. Sekine itself might find among Filipinos Oh, I see. Aquino can be found in japanese.Yeah, you know well. You need to keep on having a marital status if you intend to keep on living in Japan. Right? Have you already got a permanent resident status? So you can stay as you want. It's much better to stay in Japan. As you pointed out, it's hard to get a well paid job in Philipines.i know,..i just want to put up some business there so i could come home anytime i want to nice idea! I stayed San Mateo, MM for three months. where I heard there are many people who start a small business there Youmean prestigeous schools?Do your Philipino kids live in the Philipines? I had never slept with any woman before at age 31. It was very unusual but throughout my twenties I spent almost all my life in a library, where I read tens of thousands of books. It was age 32 when I met a Filipina woman, she was one year senior to me. We were in love for one year and a half. We lived both in Japan and in the Philippines. I met a Japanese woman at age 33 and we were in love for just three months. At age 38 I started a romantic relationship with a woman who is five years senior to me. Our loves lasted for about two years. She taught me almost everything related to love affair. At agw 42 I had affairs with African woman. She was ten years younger than I. Our love lasted for three years, longer than any other relations than before. Then I was in love with a Japanese woman who is one year senior to me. I met her two years and a half ago, Very recently we separated, and now I'm lonely. There are some infatuations between these major love affairs, that counts three. Total number I slept with in the past is 8. Does anyone want to be my girlfriend? I live in Fukuoka now. English speakers preferable. I'm teaching social studies in a prep school. My salary is over 700 mang yen.
Are you which one?

You must be sleepy right now. Talk to you later.
I think you are busy working, take your time please. I'm off today. Do you live with your two daughters of 18, 17 years old? I cannot see you easily. But I hope we can keep in touch on line. I have never used yahoo messenger. Instead I was using gmail. I am Mer though my email account is a bit strange. As to employment, this is more based on a national policy than personal matter. I cannot do anything. I am looking for a better relationship with someone. I must remind you it's almost impossible for Philipinas to get a job as teaching in Japan. So give up now. I opened this account for the first time. Do you use this account often? I regret to say I can give you any good news. I will catch you again when I'm on. Now I leave here.

Hi!

Best regards.

Hi, I found you are very attractive. Won't we start getting in touch on line?

Nice to meet you. I'm impressed with your eyes.
I read your bio and got interested.
Dear ***,

It was interesting to read your mail below. I would like to make a reply to each point.

I know I got a letter from you in Stumble upon some time ago, but I haven't examined a thread _your_ philosophy yet.

I will do it later having a coffee, did you already learn how to use a coffee machine well?

Life, and Keeping Contact

Dear Mer,

I am sorry that we've not managed to keep in contact for a while. I
saw that you were online the other day, and did a few things online,
only to find that you were gone when I came back.

I feel that our disagreement concerning the nature of reality, my
therapist, and the importance of words has jarred things a little.

I'm glad that things are working so well with your wife, and I would
be happy to catch up on things some day. I can understand is domestic
matters are taking hold for the time being, but I'm still here.

My best regards,

Your friend,

***

Thanks ***...

I think you are my best friend and I want my best friend to know about me as much as possible.

I read just many books and also experienced a lot.
I want to reveal what I did in the past which usually can't say it loud in my surroundings.

I'm afraid that my experience amazes you.

That's the reason I keep silence. I was infamous in my very strange behaviour. Can you bear that your friend is strange? Have you ever danced on the street? Have you lain down in a platform? Have you made a speech in public? For example, my friends in the past think I am already insane.

You tend to think you are different from others, yes I think you are very different in intelligence, but from my point of view you are preoccupied with many conventional ideas, which I do not have. You start to show disrespect to me if you keep on knowing me more.

In the case of man and woman relationship men or women can accept the disgraceful behaviour of their counterpart since their behaviour includes sex act.

In general any relationship without sexual act is in vain. So we have natural barrier between our understandings.

I hope you don't feel bad in my letter.

Ok, let's talk a bit. I am Japanese. Teaching social studies and English at preliminary school. How about you? It might take more time to know one another though..
I made this account about 6 months ago from an invitation of a friend whom I know in Multiply. I logged in for the first time today and visited Explorer. There I found your blog entry. I got curious since you live in Japan.
Oh, fourteen hours at night! Something like 6pm to 8am I guess. Are you from the Philippines?
It's nothing to do with a friendship, but a little bit private matter...Are you married?
We can be a good friend. How many kids do you have? Are all now over 20? Sorry for asking private matter. My picture left is taken at age 16. * shows similar to me now. You are a college graduate, I'm glad I happen to know you tonight.
Thanks. I look much younger for my real age, and you too! I browsed your photo book and I found you 'very' attractive. What time are you always on line? I'd like to talk more with you. It's already very late since I'm working daytime. I wake up now because I had two days off.
I go to sleep. I try catching you the other day. Probably you are busy working now. Talk to you again..

Hi, Br Hiro

Letters to Romans are one of my most favourite Bible chapters. It's very philosophical and for me it's easier to understand a metaphisical expression.

I plan to go back to Fukuoka this week end so I am presenting myelf on Sunday meeting.

My favourite Bible verse is somewhere in Letters, in which Paul said those who don't work are worse than those who don't have faith. Faith is a matter of how we believe in and it's basically free for us to believe in anything, but it is inevitable for us to fill our material need.

We are planning to go back to Fukuoka early next year, anyway sooner or later I will be in Fukuoka English congregation again!

Let's keep on strengthening our faith each other from now on.

I am partial to Christian value and intend to keep on learning it.

Big earthquake & the dowfall of city
2008.09.07 23:57

Kobe -population 1,3 million was a prosperous city and a target of our yearning. But 1995 Kobe earthquake changed its position. Kobe was dead and are still struggling to get out of the situations this city suffered.
After the Great Kanto earthquake that hit Tokyo in 1923 not only Tokyo but Japan was never be able to recover herself from the damage until the defeat of World War the second in 1945.
Scent of wind
2008.09.07 23:36

Today was holiday. I got up in the early morning as usual and I took a walk near our house.I had a deep breath, then I caught the smell of strange sweet wind. It was not stimulus or irritant, but I thought it is harmful to our health.
Our house is 10 km away from the centre of industrial area where giant chimnies give off exhaust gas. I had no real time to take a deep breath since I an working indoors, but what a nasty smell!
We have factories of about ten chimnies 3 km away from near our town, but owing to the current economic recession no chimnies have emitted any smoke in these four months, so I had felt like I can keep on living in the town.
I came to Kokura -population 400,000 six months ago for some reason. I have half a mind to go back to Fukuoka early next year. Fukuoka -population 1,2 million has no factory.
Thanks Allen, I'm Ok and I have been writing comments as the same as before. It was neither in Multiply nor in Slashdot though.I had nothing to do with Atari but the word is apparently from Japanese, meaning ' Bingo!'. So I remember I felt familiar with the company. I just wonder how fierce the prosperity and downfall in companies of the computer world are.

Hello to Sidotti
2008.09.05 0:29

The name of Sidotti 1668 -1714 appears in Japan's history. In 1708 he came over here from Italy via Manila. He was a jesuit missionary. He was arrested soon after he landed in Yakusima, one of the sourthern islands in Japan. Then he sent to Nagasaki, and finally Edo. He must have been in custody untill his death under the house arrest in Edo.
I thought the house owner must be a descendant from this Sidotti when I found a nameplate near Fukuoka international airport. It is very rare to find the name plate of Chinese characterised 'Sidotti' in any household in Japan. But pondering the fact that he had been in custody throughout his life in Japan, the house owner must be an immigrant from other Sidotti family.
It was already 8 years ago when I found the plate, I for unknown reasons recall it.
I might have been feeling a strong alienation in my job.

It seems to take sometime for me to make an arrangement on my current situation.
Originally men consist of not only one part but at least three parts - ido, ego, and super-ego. Super-ego is moral, ethics, rule, and law and order, etc. that regulate the mores of society.
Ego is self, that's a conglomeration of personal sense.
Ido is somehow different from merely a personal cognition. That's an uncontrollable primitive behemoth no one can handle with. Libido is easier word for explaining ido.
Our wivies are worthy if they meet our needs to fulfill our libido.

Thanks, ullangoo..I was expecting to receive a reply from you since India must have been a cradle of astrological culture. Yes, hand phase is a mysticism, based on a baseless superstition. I think any sort of fortune-telling is, in a word, superstition, but that includes kinds of truth judged from extremely numerous empirical patterns, so fortune-telling is not always useless. It reflects statistical inclination at least, I think.Fortune teller or in this case a hand reader has read tens of thousands of hand phase and must have known the patterns of those who have some particular hand line tend to face some particular future. It's interesting to see how hand phase shows someone's past as well as future. Hand phase might be a schedule board of life.

Bipartisanship & Cohabitation
Sep 3, '08 2:52 AMfor everyone
Japan's Prime minister resigned. He had once proposed to his counterpart - leader of the main opposition party to cohabit in the same cabinet. His counterpart declined as a matter of course.
I can't assert whether his attempt was good though in general bipartisanship is effective in some areas as defence, humanitarian issues, but it's not always necessary in various other issues that relate to our ordinary daily life.
Final responsibility
Sep 3, '08 2:14 AMfor everyone
Tsutomu Miyazaki, arrested for allegation of little girl abduction and murder, was hung to death on the 7th of June. He committed his crime in 1987, so it was long ago.
Yasuaki Uwabe sentenced to death finally at the supreme court. He killed 5 people at the local station in 1999. He will be hung sooner or later.
Both two are recognised as mentally insane or similar, yet court admitted that does not affect to their ability to be responsible.
Insanity won't be a reason for them to be acquitted. I think this is the current in recent judiciary.

Last smile

Last smile
2008.09.01 2:09

I believe people are liable to fall in love with someone at first sight when thebsituations surrounding him changed very drastically. In my case the chance came abruptly when I decided to move to Kokura, my birthplace about a year ago.
I met her in the station I always use. It is a local station so I started talikng to her in a very casual way. But she didn't want to talk to me. It was just one time we had a word. It seemd she didn't like to talk to me any more so I stopped trying to get acess to her, but there was a public station and I needed to use it one time in a week always on Saturdays to go to part time job at some time past 9. So I always see her around 9 o'clock every Saturday.
I knew it was in last October when I talked to her first and last time.
I found her wearing a marriage ring after that, which was also another reason I stopped talking to her. But we are forced to see one another always on Saturdays since we were using the same train at the same time. I start working at 10 and so does she. And we had several occasions to be near in the station and a train.
On the 15th of March this year I was questioned by two men - railway policemen.
They say she is upset because I am always with her in a train and a station.
This was not a crimal investigation but it was I who got upset.
I promised them not to get access to her any more intentionally from then on. I started using another train twenty minutes earlier. It lasted two or three months.
I tried using the train I used to use after three months. She was not there. Now I use the train I used to. She must have stopped using the train or changed her residence.
I didn't have any chance to ask even her name.
Her one shoe was taken off at the staircase when she was walking in front of me on the day I was questioned and she gave me the mysterious smile when I saw her in a station we always got off.
It was her 'Last smile' thinking back from later on. It turned to a cruel moment.

Hand phase

Life line, fate line..I found strange words in the lyrics of 'Last smile'. I got curious about so-called 'hand phase'. This is maily used to predict someone's future.
Talking to a hand phase, I recall my cousin.
He didn't come to my wedding ceremony more than ten years ago. I got married to some woman at age 34. At that occasion, I heard from other relatives that he was already dead. He was two years junior to me, so he must have died in his twenties or early thirties.
As my bio suggests I had been always leaving best results in my schools. My evaluation was always 5 or most excellent from 5 stage evaluations in almost all subjects except for a physical education. On the other hand my cousin was always 1 or 2. He was a poor performance pupil.
I'm not sure when but one day I had a chance to see his hand phase in a playful manner. His was something like an explosion of bomb. His didn't show any particular lines.
Orthodontics - post script
2008.09.01 0:18

I asked her when she went to dentist to correct her teeth. Then she replied. 'It was when Yuki was 3 year old, so it was 16 years ago. She is now 48 so she went to dentist at age 32. I asked her again. 'Did your r life change after you corrected your teeth?' 'Yes, to the bad phase.' She divorced at age 36. Is she referring to her divorce? I guessed so.
We are in love for 2 year and 3 months. I couldn't say she is lucky because we had love. Because certainly we are in love but that does not gurantee her rest of life. We are not legally wife and husband. We are merely cohabitants.
It is hard to get married to a woman. Because It involves economic matter.
She spent 30 to 50 US dollars each time she visited dental office. It was one time in a week and it lasted 1 year. She must have spent 2,000 to 2,500 US dollars.
I want her to change her metal covered back teeth to ceramics. It must cost $2,800. A piece of ceramic costs $700. I want to spend money for her correction, though I can't marry her.
Her daughter started working last year. She rent her appartment, bought a car. The third big buy was her teeth. She also changed her teeth from metal to ceramics. Useful spend.
