One journalist was the first Japanese to travel space in the invitation of former Soviet Union some fifteen years ago.
Now more and more Japanese have been participating in a space program of USA, probably some ten astronauts.
It is no wonder if another Japanese were invited by Russia, and unlike China that can develop manned spacecraft on its own, Japan has to heavily rely on other superstate.--
