Cats

Are cats the ultimate creatures?
Yes—they’d even win in a fight against a dog.
And when cats fight each other, it’s truly intense, isn’t it?

Why is it that, while humans don’t have giant or miniature subspecies, cats are so much smaller than lions or tigers?
Regarding the "missing link" in human evolution—the fact that no species closely resembling humans exists today—should we conclude that modern humans drove them to extinction?

Could figures like Goliath have some connection to these ancient, different types of humans?

I seem to recall some old sayings—like the one about cats having nine lives, or the idea that stress can kill a cat.

It reminded me of *Faust*.

Who exactly is this Saint Augustine from ancient times?
The name "Augustine of Hippo" came to mind—is he the one who wrote *Confessions*? How does his historical context compare to that of Marcus Aurelius?
I am a huge admirer of Marcus Aurelius.
By the way, which works are considered the "three great *Confessions*" (or autobiographical accounts of the inner self)?
"Keeping one's vulnerabilities hidden from everyone, processing them quietly within oneself, and subduing them through the power of reason"—
this is something I do all the time.

Oh, so Marcus Aurelius isn't included in that list?
Well, the idea of "the three great" works is subjective and varies from person to person.
My own personal "three great" are Marcus Aurelius, Rousseau, and André Malraux.
