Japanese people in general don't have self-confidence at all. Therefore they tend to project their objective of worship to heroes, beauties, and the celebrities of their own nationalities. The activities of Ichiro, Matsui have nothing to do with them, yet Japanese people tend to believe they are excellent partly because of their racial background, not their personal skill.
