Natto -the Spirit of Bushido

Not only natto but other fermented foods like cheese attracts a lot of people.
Why natto is tasty? Because that reflects the spirit of samurai. Natto was developed in the east part of Japan -Tokyo (to tell the truth, you know in the western part of Japan, traditionally natto hasn't been eaten)- that is regarded as a cradle of samurai spirit. Natto represents spirit of simple diet, vegetarian protein, thought to be only allowed to take in Buddhist tradition. And the strings of natto are believed to be not being able to cut by Japanese sword, that's perseverance, patience, frugality-one of virtues of Japanese bushido.
Let's eat natto in the breakfast.

Can humans taste fat? For what reasons? I can hardly find the benefit of being able to taste the fat. If our tongue can detect whether the fat is good for our body, it might be helpful. Probably in appetite more concerned, colour might be another factor for our taste. Interestingly the colour of foods forms an important part of our appetite. We can taste bitter, sweet, sour, salty, umami( glutamate ) and 'colour' as well.--

Hi, Deg, what's up? I must say this is a tough question, but I try to explain.
You see in our case, despite the fact that though we( South-west Japanese ) live adjacent to Korea, virtually we don't understand anything about Korean language. Yet historically speaking, Korean and Japanese languages are definetly correlated, we have to trace back to our mutual parent language several thousand years ago. I mean we don't understand mutually at all 'now'.
I can hardly believe that they -French and German -can communicate now in using their own languages although they have been living next to one another.
A little bit vague though from my memory in my school days, ca 4 millennia BC, a parent common language of these three started being spoken around the Black Sea. Then around 500 BC, core of Latin language family and Germanic language family started being formed in the respective area. So probably around 2500 years ago that the division of Germanic English and Latin French started. In 5th century, Gemanic tribes-Angles & Saxon started migrating what is now in England, so the division of English and German dates back to 1500 years ago.
This is a core of three languages. But by and large, they (French &German) don't understand one another( 2500 years from separation!).
And furthermore. Superficial share in many vocaburaries are completely different matter. Japanese language contains more than 80% of Chinese words yet linguisticaly speaking there's not in the least correlation between two languages. As a result of Germanic invasion in northern France in 3rd century, French language contains 15% of Germanic words yet there's no influence on its origin to be Latin language.

It is very much needed to have the complete clinical trials before the application to the disease, in this 'Statins' case, the effectiveness of this medicine to certain diseases does not automaticially mean it is also effective to other diseases.
R&D of new drugs is sure to cost a lot more than the application of older drugs.
Application of older drugs to other diseases is more cost-effective, therefore, researchers ought to spend a lot of time and money for clinical trials thoroughly.--

assimilate or be deported

Since border control is very tight in the case of Britain and its extending country- USA, and their national characteristic is relatively very clear as opposed to one of the main European countries like France. France we say today is already very different from what it used to be, so even if they were asked whether to assimilate or be deported, they would probably ask you 'assimilate with whom?' and deported to where?'

You Americans might think so, but assuming the fact that the right half of Europe was deeply dipped into Asia, it is unavoidable for Europe to be exposed from the waves of immigrants and the cultures along with them. In the case of USA, border control is basically only limited in restricting illegal workers from central America. My relationship with her started at physical one. We slept together at the very night we met first. I think it was luckiest. Otherwise I would not be able to develop our relatiuonship furthermore.
She's teaching in elementary school and I guess she has to surpress her innermost feeling in presence of her pupils. That causes her great mental stress and I really understand that.
I know, as anyone clearly noticed, her word is very strong and somehow mean, even offensive but behind all the strong words she uttered, the true feeling reveals, she was crying because she couldn't find a guy beside her when she really wanted. And this conversation shows for her I am the only one when she is in distress.
I am also a lonely guy and I can endure being alone if she didn't want me to see. Thus our relationship continues.

When we had frost-falling, we feel chilly. Did people in my town feel chilly at the site of frost falling uniform? Probably the answer is yes.

Oath In Tennis Court
2005.10.24 1:28

I bought new shoes for the first time in ten years. About ten years ago I rushed into buying tens of new shoes. At that time I was inclined to get new shoes. Many cost $100-$200 and all were incredibly endurable. I've been still using some of them, all were of course worn out but still no problem to use.
Almost all shoes I bought ten years ago were made in Northampton, England - Dr Martins, JT Hawkins, Underground Shoes. And others were Regal made in USA.
Because I didn't care about the weight of shoes ten years ago and also I thought it better to wear a heavy shoes because simply I thought it cool. Now the time has passed, I prefer to use a light shoes suitable to light walk.
I chose to buy a sneaker and the name of the shoes is Wimbledon, the one was really licenced by Wimbledon, and the make is Japanese, but this shoe is made in China.
I tried wearing this shoe and I found it extremely comfortable and light, easy to move, as if I were born again. I am revigorated. I am rejuvenated.
Today I took an oath in tennis court. My revolution starts now.

To be or not to be. -- Shakespeare
No Comment.
To do is to be. -- Nietzsche
Nietzsche tried to get over the meaninglessness of life or nihilism at that time covered in Europe by the affirmative admission of life by way of doing positively so I might say for him that doing is being. So this expression is right.
To be is to do. -- Sartre
You see his shibboleth was existence is prior to being so he is merely pointing that being is being. I cannot believe he's saying 'To be is to do'. Instead what he said was just 'To be is to be'. Actually he didn't understand the meaning of what he said.

Technically speaking now we can carry all the libraries combined in our hands. The problem we will face is a matter of contents. Still many great works are protected under the copyright law or the right of intellectual property, and restricted to be written down freely in the Internet.
We can get access to tens of thousands of kinds of scribles in this revolutionary instrument, if we can freely read whole paragraph of 'War and Peace', how fantastic! It also helps us save money to spend for buying books. I used to read tens of hundreds of books lent in a library, but it cost none. To buy books is one thing and to get information is another. I was unable to be such a great writer if I had to pay for reading books in a library.
Internet ought to contain the library -collections of contents, lots of classics we ought to read. Not just for slashdot.

Is the original of this- dealing with works whose copyrights have expired (I think War And Peace is in there- somewhere). A more modern version, coming soon to an internet enabled palmtop or phone near you, is Google Books and Yahoo Books. The companies are in competition and currently making deals with publishers for out of print copyrighted works- in exchange for providing hit counts and locations of people interested in the books, which could lead to print on demand and new runs for some books that have been unavailable for years; in return for you being able to search huge libraries. Probably they would start to store the classical works whose copyrights were already expired, they will not face conspicuous problems for their project on this. The matter is whether they will be able to store the contents currently someone holds their copyright. Some will oppose and others say welcome, that depends. Bestseller writers will raise some questions if their works were relocated in Google libraries without their permissions, but I don't believe Google will do such things without permission of original writers.
By and large this project will complete soon. And even those who opposed this project would turn to publish their works in the Internet soon. In my prediction, a history of books in paper will be ended before long. Within two or three years people will prefer to carry a w-ZERO 3 (the name of the new product) and we would be considered one of the greatest writers of our times.

Microsoft has already srarted the commercial message in the TV for the effectiveness of blogging.

When each person carry the kit, who needs to buy a book or read it in a library? Probably the answer is 'none'.

Hello Again!

For the first time in several months I visited slado jp. The form or rather I should say -template is very much changed and the form right now is very similar to the current slashdot.org version. More precisely similar to the former version, but there's no top 30 section in slashdot.org, I mean it's slightly different but compared to the last version of slado.jp, the form right now is very similar to current slashdot.org.
This is a very good thing. What makes both sites different is only the language both sites use -in the case of jp site, Japanese is used and in the cae of org.site, English is used.
My ideal is both sites will be integrated into one in the future, of course it's not a matter of two or three years but decades. The way to the great integration has just started, but I must say, thanks to the recent very rapid prevalence, the day to integrate is nigh.

The future map of the internet journal system will change soon. More and more less frequently visited sites get new entries and many sites get more and more vigourous.

Perfect Sunday

Since I quit my job at the end of last month -that is September, I've got relatively lots of free time and on every Sunday I started spending my free time with my ex-wife.
When we go out, usually she drives a car and I am just looking through the window or just sleeping beside her.
I don't love her any more and I am not sure whether it is morally good to be with an ex-wife. I was just killing time, but for her it seemed so happy. We are afraid to be alone at any time. My relationship with my current girlfriends are terrible, or dying in a word. My ex-wife is always a last alternative. Thanks to that, I was able to enjoy our holiday.
I happen to find this site while browsing Yahoo! search, seems recently this site resumed, I guess not only this site but also other sites as well are receiving public limelight because of the recent drastic increase of the internet population. I sometimes check up this site, too.
Today, we went to the shopping mall near our residence. There were incredibly lots of people there -called 'marinoa city', we ordered crepe and noodles, a little happiness but it was a precious moment to be able to share our time. We will have another holiday on the 3rd of November, we call the holiday 'A Day of Culture', we plan to go out somewhere near our place, too.
Now it's rainy, we will seem to have a little bit cold night.

Aging
09:39 PM

I never felt my age till very recently. It was just one or two months ago that I started feeling aging. This is inevitable.
I didn't go out downtown Tenjin -centre of Fukuoka City -where I live. I often refer to this city as Yahoo! City, because there's a huge Yahoo! Dome here -for a long time, simply I was unable to go out because I was in charge of an ammusement facility for more than three years.
Just what I found in downtown was a lot of people, people, wave of people, and I found nowhere to stay in the midst of the town.
Thus I came home at 7 p.m.
Nice to meet you Mr Jamie, you run this site, this site is especially good because of my member No. And very few started writing their journals. I started another journey here today.

Today I walked around the city and found lots of young culture. People used to wear very modest clothing, but theor fashion changed entirely. People prefer to wear colourful clothings as they wish. here the culture of the young has been in whirlpool.

I myself have been very fond of my signature and also I have been convincing that our daily activity in slashdot is sure to be tracked down on the record of history. Before the invention of the internet, it took time for many valuable things to be revealed from the debris of useless historical events, but since the invention of the internet, we have been able to know what we can evaluate it's worthy of in real time. that's the very difference the internet brought us. At age 29 I quitted my teaching job (later resumed though) and I started travelling all around the world. It took 4 months to complete anyway it was on my way back to England from Northern Ireland through Scotland when I wondered what I was doing. It was pointless, meaningless, without any destination I was just moving incessantly as I wished.

When I was young or much younger than now I am, I read many articles related to the justification of enforcing an atomic bomb over the sky of Hiroshima, Nagasaki.
Their points were concentrated on two,
1. The use of atomic bomb acceralated the end of war.
2. The death toll of Hiroshima was less than the death toll caused by the big fire after incendiary bombs were used as a carpet bombing in Tokyo.
But probably I have to add one more on the list of justification -
3. The atomic bomb in Nagasaki saved millions of Japanese, if it had been dropped over Kokura, Japan would have disappeared from the map.
We dropped the bomb in Nagasaki, it was in fact good or at least better much better than the worst case -dropping the bomb in Kokura.
This is similar meta-phychology -we killed more people in one night in Tokyo Air Raid, certainly less people were killed in Hiroshima by atomic bomb, so it was good at least better than the worse case -air raid in Tokyo.
Probably in 1970s, those kinds of justification were told among American people. I don't know whether the story is based on scientific research though if it were true we Japanese have to say thank you for dropping a bomb not in Kokura but in Nagasaki.

Drugs are poison and medicine at the same time. Drugs themselves are located beyond the judgement of good and evil but once we failed to apply, it would invite the aftermath beyond our imagination.
It takes huge cost to develop new medicines, instead it cost much less just to find what disease to apply. That oughtn't necessarily to be reduced to the matter of cost though, it is a reality.
Aspirin is confirmed to be one of the most effective medicines ever and there has been no significant side effect on this medicine. But remember there are some cases some medicine turned to be both harmful and beneficial depending on being applied to the kinds of diseases.
We need lots of clinical tests when we tried to apply some medicines to other diseases. Any way it's supposed to cost a lot as well.--

that extracts hydrogen directly from water using only solar energy.
I still doubt the effectiveness of this technic, in space how to apply and how cost effective in space for what?
The University of Tokyo is a national university, they are using millions of out taxes, I want them to do R&D in a field more explicable to anyone.--

Some poor Japanese people (not bees) leared how to make them warm by vibrating themselves when they found no money to purchase oil. This is a passive reaction to prevent cold. Probably Japanese honey bees learned more positively how to protect from bigger enemies through observing their masters.

The Eve

For what to be is, not to be is, soul, God....for what greens, flowers, rivers, forests are...... No water, my head is dried up. And again, not to be. Music, subsequently again, a woman. .........Sense! Thus my head thinks. And again I am. And again it's music. Subsequently again......One woman. And again I,Never am dubious I am. I am never dubious I am. And again flowers. Once flowers are my foe......it's too small. And again my friend......it's too big. And again it's not to be, that's it. From next to not to be.My mind is too big, because my capacity is too small. My mind is just a being. I respect to be existing. A woman is a child. Because a man is a dog. And again, my head thinks. I think senses. Nobody can write. Therefore I can't write.
Marriage in natural consequences. Meaningless discharge. Excess. Eyes listen to all the voices, a mouth sees some voices, and my head to eat. Because as if a horse sees fire, mist implies an atomosphere, there's no word. Substance that just exists, life derived from inconsistency, Sycamoreleaf tree born from the soul, then again a rotten head. A big pot, this dried up hair that brought me former victory. The acts of butchery is so sore in my eyes, once I loved the perfect darkness, and there's something, the epitaph on the grave that relish having them freezed the hands that's unable to grasp anything.
I had seen in sequence. I thought the fear and remained it in the brain. And again the thought of genius injured my brain, and had me drink fresh tomato juice. I had seen in sequence freely. My world has two, and was completely different. One is I had seen the fate in sequence, and the other is I had seen...... what I understand. Those are a man and God, a sphynx and a lion. Delirium is order, because I had seen it.
What I saw the next was just a vacant hole, glass and lenses, a carriage and light, a brain that thinks nothing, something without eyes, a woman who has got a clot blood from a nose to a head, it's the eve, everyday I stop thinking, everyday I am just the things, power and light, dream and substance, tepid crisis, and crisis, oh my head, I will follow my head!Oh I see, and my head felt. My consciousness keeps on, a treason drowned, a freeman crossed the car, tomorrow night I will see a woman, talk to a guy who has got fish hands.I am never aware of it. I came to be violent extremely.
It's night. A thought never exists. I am the only poet, and a bunch of flowers. A man wearing suits stepped downstairs, heading for the car, as if a bull were slipping away from cliff.
What did I see? I saw everything, the whole things that exist now. Arthur Rimbaud signified me extremely. He is a big being, a human, a bull. That's not connected to Satan. Light is aware of him and being made him mad goes ahead from the deep mountains now. The eve is long.
If everything exists, there's no my nose. Because into my nose I had given a mad screw, a ballpoint pen like a watch, little by little for a long time. If I've got a thought, it's a sound. No news. A primitive figure changes since long ago, a deep light my head is aware of, and it's also a cool drop as if it were pouring. One big needle in the air of wrath as if it were boiling. They've got no chances to get out of it, rule over me, annihilate me, annoy me, oppress the feeling whether summer is better than winter, smashed the wild pig and put them into my eyes, decrease my sense extremely, killed my reason which ordered that I should hate a guy, am I serious that order I should know God, am I me?
I am exhausted. If I had things to see to seek for a console land, an upper arms of a woman, I feel comfort, the bosoms that are her figure are as natural as possible. That's also a life, and an integration. Therefore I feel tired and went to a distant desert, found three stars, admire Magi as Angels, breathed a sacred breath to the Tristar, hate the ones who want to be the art themselves.
I deny. I'm exhausted, totally exhausted. I saw an upgoing shooting star far away.
As if God wants to be God, men want to be men, I am to be me, passing through night and day, hens provide fresh blood at dawn, I will face 33 men with the help of women. When I found them just a breath I hugged women, went to the town of St Lous in the north, gripped the powdered milk, cried as a mad man, she went up to the heaven there, when I saw it she was contained by an angelic light, when my mouth swallowed everything passing through day, night and morning, and again I myself fell into being, day by day saw men, towns, a cross and saw music and I found human culture stands on the roof and the extraterrestrial's real image that has been making a great effort to establish the human symbol in it, and submit to the day to come, is that OK? What I saw at the same time becomes past, present and future over time, over lands, over the sea, over the green eyes, sink into the bottom of the sea, melt with modern science, over men, over women's body, I would rather feel hot than I perspire seeing the dream, melt with humans who live in the vessel of the hands than being harmed by animals that direct the cruel tanks. ______
Someone let him know where I'm heading for. I saw what I saw. I am insisting I saw what we are unable to see. I'm saying I see tanks in the violet, a big face near rthe horizon.

There's no guaranty for Self to be the same as the self being concious at present. As well, time comes over the description and men eat quicksilver in the thermometre. What they eat is as good as decay or my gray matter is, prosecute the fruition in perseverances, and why not prepare for the day to come
Yet, yet it's eve. Tomorrow I will find myself to be sober, oh, witches. ____
Stop. It is necessary for me to take a rest for the day to come. I perspired. I saw the moon. At dawn over the mountains, over the valley, over the dream, pick out a piece of stone, throw it to the tristar far away on the top of the mountain, stars include the night, praise the 'world' we live___in order for us to need a finger to point, direct the clock.
